For headshots, my rates will always be listed and updated on the pricing page. All other rates vary between hourly, daily, or flat-fee based on your needs. A ”look” is an outfit change for headshots. When you change your outfit, I also change the lighting to match your updated look. For example, if you’re wearing brighter colors for a commercial headshot, I’ll set the lighting up accordingly to compliment that style. If you change into a darker wardrobe for a more dramatic/theatrical look, I’ll change the lighting accordingly to then compliment that specific style as well. Minor changes like adding or subtracting a jacket or glasses doesn’t count as a “look”.

Actors, bring a variety of styles based on what you would realistically be cast as for your character-type and age-range. We’ll discuss details and outfit choices in-depth prior to your session. Commercial headshots are generally brighter and more colorful. Theatrical headshots are darker, more muted colors. Even if you’re only shooting one look, bring backups.

Professionals, same goes for you: bring a variety of styles. It depends on what industry you’re in and how you want to be portrayed in your headshot. We’ll discuss details and outfit choices in-depth prior to your shoot.

A good rule of thumb: Solid colors translate best. Boisterous patterns and loud graphics are a big no-no. Various cuts and styles are totally fine, but leave your Affliction and Ed Hardy shirts at home.

YES. Having a makeup artist that knows how to style for photography is invaluable. Saving a little by not hiring a makeup artist could potentially mean having to retake your headshots, which would totally defeat the purpose of why you didn’t hire one in the first place. Invest in a makeup artist, you’ll thank yourself when you get the final product. This goes for women and men.

For headshots, no. Just don’t cancel your session. Easy peasy.
(I understand that unexpected and unavoidable things may come up, so please let us know if you have to cancel as soon as possible.)

Other shoots vary. Generally, a 40% non-refundable deposit is due up-front and the remaining 60% balance is due upon delivery of the project. Other projects/clients may be invoiced as NET15 or NET30.

General headshots, nope. Everything is shot in my studio here in Burbank.

Corporate clients and companies, yes. I set up a portable studio on-site at your location. That way we can photograph multiple employees, principals, and executives in a single day. A travel fee applies.

Cash or credit card. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, etc. Sorry, no personal checks.

Nope! I photograph food, products, lifestyle, and events.
